Enterprises go full throttle to play bigger role in driving China's new industrialization, infrastructure upgrade

China is in pursuit of what is called Chinese modernization, a distinct, well-thought-out way to build a stronger country and advance national rejuvenation in the new era. Many high-level meetings have stressed that in this endeavor, the process of new industrialization and infrastructure upgrade will have to play critical roles, given that China needs to overcome challenges like the impact of climate change and uneven development across various regions of the country. In addition, rapidly developing fields like digital technologies and the changing global industrial landscape have stiffened the challenges. China's State-owned enterprises in various fields are relentlessly striving to meet such challenges head-on, often by placing emphasis on technological innovation and institutional innovation. Here, China Daily presents a photo feature to showcase SOEs' role in China's push for high-quality development and prosperity.
