Slovenian footballer inspired by Tianjin diving enthusiasts

Robert Beric is a Slovenian professional footballer who plays for Chinese Super League club Tianjin Jinmen Tiger.

Living in Tianjin for two years, Beric has been truly impressed by the optimistic spirit of the local people.

Both the "survive for one minute, enjoy 60 seconds" slogan that went viral together with the diving enthusiasts, and the unwavering support of Tianjin residents and fans have made Beric feel at home in the city.

"I think this call... we have to use it maybe in the games as 'survive 90 minutes but also live and enjoy ninety minutes'," Beric says.
