After a heavy snowfall, the ancient buildings in Zhengzhou, Henan province, exuded a sense of serenity and tranquility.

The Zhengzhou Confucius Temple and the Chenghuang Temple in Zhengzhou, two cultural and historical landmarks, showed their unique charm after the first snow.

The scene was reminiscent of the regal ambiance found within the red walls of the Forbidden City in Beijing, as the snow delicately rests upon the ancient buildings' courtyards and roofs.

Qi Xin in Zhengzhou contributed to this story.
