Some sleeper carriages and the dining carriage have been decorated with Northeast folk elements, such as window paper-cuttings and colorful bedsheets.

During the trip, passengers enjoyed local snacks and experienced dressing up in traditional Northeastern clothing like flower print cotton-padded jackets and dog skin hats.

They also sang Northeastern folk songs, made dumplings, and performed Northeastern yangge dances.
