Ambassador of Suriname highlights mutual understanding

Pick Fung Ho-Chong, ambassador of the Republic of Suriname to China, is fascinated by China's intertwined tradition and modernity. Since coming to China, she has truly experienced China's vast territory and abundant resources. "We lack nothing, you want it, we get it", she says.

As a diplomat, she emphasizes that mutual understanding between different civilizations will lead to a more friendly and peaceful society.

And she has high expectations of China's high-quality development. "China doing well means the world will do well, too", she says.
