Dragon dance parade concludes in Guangdong

The event was co-hosted by the Intangible Cultural Heritage department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Guangdong Provincial Culture and Tourism Bureau and the Huizhou government, aiming to create a festive atmosphere for celebrating the Chinese New Year and strengthen the promotion, interpretation and inheritance of excellent traditional Chinese culture.

This event was one of many themed New Year activities organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Approximately 300 intangible cultural heritage performances related to dragon dance were staged across the country during the festival.
