The 6th UN Environment Assembly concludes with 15 resolutions

The sixth session of the UN Environment Assembly (UNEA-6) concluded in Nairobi, Kenya on March 1, with 15 resolutions adopted, two decisions as well as a Ministerial Declaration aimed at halting the progression of the triple planetary crisis of climate change, nature and biodiversity loss, pollution and waste.

UNEA-6 was held from Feb 26 to March 1, 2024 at the UN Environment Programme headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya, under the theme: Effective, inclusive and sustainable multilateral actions to tackle climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution.
