5.4-magnitude quake hits Fiji Islands region: GFZ

NEW YORK -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted Fiji Islands region at 19:41:59 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 575.5 km, was initially determined to be at 17.89 degrees south latitude and 178.48 degrees west longitude.
