Apple and Baidu yet to reach an AI cooperation agreement

Apple Inc has not reached an agreement with Baidu on AI cooperation so far, sources familiar with Apple's operations told China Daily on Tuesday.

They denied recent media reports that suggest a cooperation between Apple and Baidu to provide AI features for the upcoming Chinese version of iPhone 16, Mac systems, and the iOS 18.

This denial contradicts earlier media speculation, which claimed that Baidu would be contributing AI functionalities to Apple's products slated for release this year.
