Zhuhai Performing Arts Group presents Cantonese Opera in Beijing

On April 16, Exploit in Silent, a Cantonese Opera produced by Zhuhai Performing Arts Group and performed by the Zhuhai Cantonese Opera Troupe, graced the stage in Beijing. This opera, based on the true story of Dr Ke Lin, depicts his clandestine efforts while working as a doctor in Macao, carrying out numerous missions for the Communist Party of China.

The opera originally premiered in Zhuhai, Guangdong province in November, and is a collaborative effort between artists from Zhuhai and Macao. It was also staged in Macao last year. This production holds special significance as it commemorates the 25th anniversary of Macao's return to China.
