Samsung commits to expanding presence in Chinese market

South Korean technology company Samsung Electronics Co Ltd said it will continue to expand in the Chinese market, bolster the updating and iteration of vehicle-mounted technologies, and improve intelligent driving experience in China.

The company has showcased its full range of innovative products and solutions in the vehicle-mounted field at the 2024 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, hoping to further strengthen its cooperation with the Chinese market.

Samsung said with the development of artificial intelligence and big data, the demand for data storage in the smart mobility field is increasing.

Meanwhile, there is a rising requirement for the vehicle-mounted information entertainment system and driver assistance system as the automobile industry is experiencing a digitalized and intelligent transformation.

Samsung's cutting-edge technologies demonstrated at the auto show include memory devices and storage solutions, light-emitting diode (LED) lighting solutions, vehicle-mounted imaging sensors, and organic light-emitting diodes (OLED).

In addition, auto design solutions that cover system-on-chip (SoCs), power management integrated circuits (PMICs) and battery management integrated circuits (BMICs) have also been presented.
