Red culture and tourism boost rural revitalization in Jiangxi county

Located in East China's Jiangxi province, Huichang county, boasts a rich revolutionary history, is full of new vigor and vitality by integrating ecological resources and red tourism.

The county, neighboring China's Fujian and Guangdong provinces, is establishing a cultural and tourism pilot area focusing on red tourism, scenery sightseeing, cuisine and shopping, as well as leisure and entertainment.

The integration of culture and tourism has boosted the local economy. According to the data released by the Huichang government, the county's GDP totaled 16.45 billion yuan ($2.28 billion) in 2023, up 5 percent yearly.
