The eagerly anticipated Japanese romance film April, Come She Will, featuring stars Takeru Satoh and Masami Nagasawa, is poised to captivate Chinese audiences as it hits domestic theaters on May 18.

Recently, the film celebrated its premiere in Beijing, with the presence of scriptwriter Genki Kawamura and actor Satoh adding to the excitement.

Derived from Kawamura's 2016 novel of the same name, the movie narrates the tale of a psychiatrist on the brink of marrying his veterinarian fiancee. However, a letter from his college sweetheart, whom he deeply cherished a decade ago, triggers an unforeseen turn of events when his fiancee mysteriously vanishes.
