Initiated in 2012 with the visionary project "Chasing Dreams", the National Ballet of China's public assessment aims to spotlight the dancers' technical prowess while igniting inspiration for them to showcase their talent across various proficiency levels.

Feng Ying, the company's director, emphasized that the public assessment serves as a platform to engage audiences, offering them insight into the company's rigorous training regimen and promotion process. Additionally, spectators were encouraged to participate by voting for their favorite dancers, further enhancing the interactive nature of the event.
