In the past few years, Fenghua district in Ningbo city, located in East China's Zhejiang province, has played host to several sports events. These events have not only increased the district's visibility among the public but have also made a significant contribution to the local tourism industry

Situated by the sea and surrounded by beautiful mountains, Fenghua district is blessed with natural resources that make it an ideal location for hosting a variety of sports events. From marathons and sailing races to triathlons, the district leverages its natural advantages to accommodate diverse sporting activities.

Adding to its appeal, Fenghua, known as the "youngest district" of Ningbo, boasts the city's largest per capita sports area at 4.16 square meters. The district features a 7,000-seat stadium and an 1,100-kilometer fitness trail, further enhancing its reputation as a hub for sports enthusiasts.

While in the district, many contestants and their families take the opportunity to appreciate the stunning views and explore the coastal defense sites, adding to their experience during their stay.

As a result, the increased tourism and influx of visitors have significantly boosted consumption in Fenghua, propelling its economy onto a path of sustainable growth.

An example of this is the marathon held in March, where more than 10,000 running enthusiasts from across the country gathered. This event not only provided them with an opportunity to participate in the marathon but also allowed them to admire the blooming peach blossoms in the district.

Additionally, a unique sports event took place in the district earlier this month. Students operated high-tech products like drones and model ships to accomplish designated tasks at a beach. This event successfully integrated sightseeing, sports, and science education, offering a multidimensional experience for participants.
