Handmade toys stimulate biz vitality in Shandong's Linyi

The wooden spinning toy in Gangshang town of Tancheng county is an ancient traditional handicraft with a history of more than 600 years, and was included in the fourth batch of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2014.

Since the 1970s, people in Tancheng have been producing wooden decorates and puppet figures. Over the years, Tancheng wooden spinning products have won many awards at home and abroad, Gangshang town has developed a reputation as a famous "town of wooden toys".

In recent years, Tancheng county has built a wood play industrial park, integrating ecology and environmental protection.
