Sheqi county flood response escalates amidst deluge

According to the National Meteorological Center, the rainfall in Sheqi county, Nanyang city, Henan province, reached 418.6 mm from 9 am on Monday to 8 am on Tuesday, ranking it first among the national meteorological observation stations.

In response to the rainstorm, Sheqi County flood control and drought relief headquarters upgraded the flood control emergency response level from Grade II to Grade I, the top level in the four-tiered system, at 5:30 am on Tuesday.
