Alipay's Chasing the Wind program aims to kindle a lasting love for soccer among young players, while rallying greater attention and support for the development of girls soccer in rural regions.

Launched as part of a collaboration between the Alipay Charity Foundation and the China Youth Development Foundation, Chasing the Wind channels funds to primary school soccer teams and girls soccer initiatives in underdeveloped rural areas. To date, the program has provided sponsorships to more than 70 rural primary school girls soccer teams spanning 23 provincial-level regions in China.
