Reform to sustain 5 percent growth: Economist

With the third plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee outlining further reform to address structural issues, Liu Qiao, dean of Peking University's Guanghua School of Management, told China Daily that China is likely to maintain economic growth of about 5 percent through 2029, setting the stage for doubling its GDP per capita from its 2020 level by 2035 and basically achieving Chinese modernization.
