Baersi Snow Mountain, located in Zhangye, Gansu province, has drawn growing attention from visitors thanks to its unique landscape and beautiful scenery. The main peak reaches 5,118 meters above sea level. It is a sacred place in the hearts of the Yugur people. Baersi means "tall, magnificent, and divine" in the Yugur language.

The mountain showcases breathtaking natural wonders, where glaciers, rivers, lakes and alpine meadows intertwine in a symphony of beauty. Its unique landform and original natural scenery have earned it the reputation of "China's western secret realm" and "the dazzling pearl of the Silk Road". It is a significant geographical landmark and a symbol of Yugur culture and history.
