Zeekr vehicles to serve Asian Winter Games

Zeekr, the premium arm of Chinese carmaker Geely Holding Group, is to chauffeur participants at the 9th Asian Winter Games, which to be held in February 2025 in Harbin, capital of Northeast China's Heilongjiang province.

The Zhejiang province-based automotive group inked a deal of partnership with the event's organizing committee on Friday. Zeekr's 001 coupe and the 009 MPV have been designated as official vehicles for the 2025 Asian Winter Games.

Prior to the forthcoming event, both models served participants at the Asian Games held in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, last year, receiving acclaim for their performance and innovation.

Zeekr is one of the most popular premium EV brands in China, with its cumulative sales from January to August hitting 121,540 units, up 81 percent from the same period last year.

It had received over 20,000 orders from its 7X within one week of its launch, said Zeekr on Saturday.
