During autumn in the southern part of Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, wooden houses with distinctive characteristics are scattered on the grass and hillsides along a wide and smooth road about 70 kilometers from Aksu. Electric vehicles filled with tourists shuttle back and forth among various attractions.

At the parking lot of the Tianshan Tomur Peak - Tagerake Village Tourist Center, Ibulayimu Turgun, a driver of the scenic area shuttle bus, is using an intelligent charging pile to charge the bus. "Now our electric shuttle buses can run for three days on a single charge, which is both cost-effective and environmentally friendly. All tourists like it," he said.

Located at the foot of Tomur Peak, the highest peak of the Tianshan Mountains, Tagerake village leverages its excellent natural ecology and cultural resources to follow a new model. The village has been promoting its rural tourism brand, adapting measures to local conditions, developing tourism, and optimizing rural industrial structure. By localized measures such as the transformation of houses into farmhouse inns, many local herdsmen have benefited from the development of tourism, creating more beautiful villages and higher earnings.

Currently, the heating and entertainment facilities in Tagerake village scenic area have achieved full electrification. Since 2022, in order to promote the substitution of clean energy to achieve green development, the State Grid Aksu Electric Power Co has accelerated the construction of the electric power grid. It has successively built 2.5 kilometers of new 10kV lines, renovated 3.4 kilometers of 0.4kV lines, replaced four transformers, added two main transformers, and invested in the construction of a 35kV substation, achieving deep coverage of electric energy consumption in the scenic area, the company said.

With the support of sufficient and stable electricity, Tagerake village has empowered "new cultural tourism" with clean electricity, striving to build a fully electrified, green, and smart tourist scenic area. Meanwhile, through the development of the tourism economy, the local area has provided stable employment for over 270 farmers and herdsmen. All villagers have directly benefited from tourism, with an average income increase of over 35,000 yuan per person. The concept of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" has been vividly practiced here.
