Dance company returns to Beijing stage

Sixteen dancers stand in a line in 16 with each one connected to another. In the process of flowing action, circling and marching, the energy fluctuations between the dancers are transmitted back and forth from beginning to end, accompanied by a dynamic increase in spatial change.

Inspired by an imagination of dynamic sounds, 17 uses body movement that constantly keeps pace with the sounds. The piece features elements of electronic music by musician Xiao He, a longtime collaborator of the Tao Dance Theater.
