The celebration gala for the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China was successfully held in Tokyo on Wednesday by the Chinese community in Japan.
As China's National Day draws near, overseas Chinese in Japan, along with Japanese friends who value the friendship between the two countries, will come together to extend their heartfelt wishes for China's prosperity, peace, and continued success.
He Naihe, chairman of the Union of Chinese Residing in Japan, expressed in his opening speech how pleased he was to see guests from both China and Japan gathered to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and to share their deep connection to China and their love for the country.
According to He, since its establishment over 20 years ago, the Union of Chinese Residing in Japan has grown into a union of 120 associations covering major regions of Japan, thanks to the strong support of both government and civil sectors. The union is dedicated to organizing activities that showcase the spirit of the overseas Chinese community and promote friendly exchanges between China and Japan.
