Zeekr, owned by Chinese car giant Geely, launched a five-seat family car called Zeekr MIX, on Wednesday. Available in two variants, the MPV is priced at 279,900 yuan ($39,360) and 299,900 yuan respectively.
Of its features the most striking ones are its interior space, thanks to its wheelbase of more than 3 meters and the flexibility of its seats. Both seats in the first row can be turned around and a table erected, which means occupants can play cards or have meals with the second-row passengers when the vehicle is parked.
Also, by hiding the B pillar, its slide doors can open to up 1.5 meters, making it easy for passengers to get in and out.
The MIX has a maximum output of 310 kilowatts, which enables it to accelerate from 0-100 kilometers per hour in 6.8 seconds. The version with a 76 kilowatt-hour battery pack has a China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle range of 550 km on one charge and can be charged from 10 percent to 80 percent in 10 and a half minutes.
The variant that boasts a 102 kWh pack has a CLTC range of 700 km.
Zeekr said its 800-volt supercharging stations will be available in at least 150 cities across the country by the end of this year.
Both variants feature lidar and dual Orin-X chips. Coupled with Zeekr's smart driving system, the model offers advanced driving-assist abilities including automatic parking.
Zeekr said it will update the system via updates over-the-air to enable valet parking in more complex scenarios and driving-assist abilities on urban roads without reliance on maps.
