Diplomat: China creating more development opportunities for countries worldwide

A Chinese diplomat noted that China, in accelerating its own path toward modernization, will create more development opportunities for countries worldwide.

Speaking in Bali on Nov 3, Minister Counsellor Li Hongwei of the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia said China is willing to further deepen multilateral and bilateral trade and investment cooperation, foster a closer industrial and supply chain partnership and move forward together on a path of shared development and prosperity with others.

Li reiterated that as friendly neighbors and under the strategic guidance of the leaders of both countries, China and Indonesia are seeing their trade and investment collaboration continue to improve and advance.

Speaking at the First Asia-America-Europe Business Cooperation Development Forum, Li added that the building of a China-Indonesia community with a shared future has progressed deeply, with high-quality Belt and Road cooperation becoming more substantial.

The forum, co-hosted by the China-Asia Economic Development Association, Beijing Yaoyang Foundation and the Belt and Road Culture Exchange Foundation for Women, and organized by the Foreign Exchange Committee of the China-Asia Economic Development Association, drew over 500 participants, including government officials from three continents, entrepreneurs, economists and mainstream media from around the world.

Under the theme, "Cooperative Development, Mutual Benefit, and Win-Win: Cooperation and Innovation Among Asian, American, and European Enterprises," participants conducted in-depth analyses on the current development paths of enterprises and global economic trends, engaging in thorough discussions on various topics, including the international economic landscape and solutions for Chinese enterprises going overseas.
