Sichuan is the third province to host the event, following Liaoning and Heilongjiang provinces in the first half of this year.
"Through events like these, we aim not only to help Russian exporters strengthen partnerships with Chinese colleagues and expand bilateral cooperation but also to show people of China what our country values and is proud of," Nikishina said.
A permanent Russian food pavilion opened in Chengdu during the event.
"We invite customers to visit the pavilion to taste and buy Russian products. And we also hope to reach cooperation agreements with distributors, chain supermarkets, e-commerce platforms, hotels and cafes in China," she said.
