Yongzhou's scarlet maple leaves paint tranquil countryside beauty

Early winter is the best time to see the scarlet maple leaves in Yongzhou of Central China's Hunan province.

In Shapingli village of Yongzhou, the green maple leaves which are turning red and yellow, displaying a beautiful countryside picture. The fiery red maple leaves alongside the tranquil green river create a poetic winter scene like a painting.

Visitors come in groups to take photos and indulge in the stunning maple scenery of the woods.
