Zhejiang rolls out winter and spring tours for inbound travelers
Zhejiang province introduced 12 themed travel routes for travelers on Sunday.
The initiative was announced in Quzhou city to 100 inbound tourism operators at a launch ceremony hosted by the provincial department of culture, radio, television and tourism. The Quzhou government announced a number of favorable policies for inbound travelers, including free tickets to 14 major scenic spots from November to March every year (Spring Festival excluded).
The travel routes are part of Zhejiang's efforts to boost inbound tourism. The province is home to several Best Tourism Villages accredited by the World Tourism Organization. As of Nov 30, it had received more than 563,000 inbound visitors, up 51.3 percent year-on-year, according to local authorities.
