Eighteen ice sculptures have been built along bustling Guilin Road in Changchun, Jilin province, attracting local residents and tourists.

Sculptors spent a week carving the sculptures, which include traditional Chinese New Year symbols such as the god of wealth, candied fruit, koi fish and the Monkey King, Sun Wukong, from the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West.
