Foreign youth experience kung fu, Buddhism in Fujian

Young people from 18 countries and regions practiced kung fu and learned about Buddhism at the Southern Shaolin Monastery in Quanzhou, Fujian province, during a five-day study tour, which concluded on Tuesday.

The 26 participants, all from Generation Z, include youths from Italy, Japan, Australia, Yemen and Tanzania.

They also drank Fujian tea and visited a traditional village, a compass museum and an exhibition space belonging to Anta Sports, a leading sportswear brand based in Quanzhou.

They recorded and shared the tour on social media platforms like Facebook, TikTok, X and Xiaohongshu.
