Dozens injured in crush in Doha after New Year's celebration

DOHA - Dozens were injured in a crowd surge at a metro station near Lusail Boulevard following New Year's Eve celebrations in the Qatari capital of Doha, witnesses told Xinhua on Wednesday.
Emergency medical teams treated the injured at the scene, according to media reports.
Lusail Boulevard, located north of Doha, has hosted New Year celebrations in the past two years.
Local authorities have yet to comment on the incident.
