Major domestic online travel agency Trip.com Group has launched a free half-day trip around Beijing for all international passengers who are in transit for eight hours or more.

The idea is to attract and serve more international transit passengers, by showing them the beauty of Beijing and giving them a taste of Chinese culture.

The trip includes free shuttles, multilingual guides, tickets to attractions, and free internet access, to ensure that transiting travelers are able to enjoy the capital's charms.

Currently, the service can be accessed at the gathering point in Terminal 3 of the Beijing Capital International Airport, and travelers from nearly 50 countries, including Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Singapore, have already taken part.
