China-Europe freight trains off to a good start in Lianyungang

China-Europe freight trains are working flat out in Lianyungang, Jiangsu province, with workers operating 24 hours to make a good start for the China-Kazakhstan logistics cooperation base in the first month of 2025.

In 2024, 4.52 million metric tons of goods were transported by the China-Europe freight trains from Lianyungang, up 4.15 percent year-on-year. The trains carried a total of 260,500 TEUs, a 7.03 percent increase year-on-year.
