Peak inbound travel is projected from Jan 23 to 27, while outbound peaks are expected from Jan 22 to 27 and Feb 1 to 5. During these periods, daily outbound vehicles and passengers are forecasted to exceed 20,000 and 100,000, respectively.

Cai Shaojia from Hainan Strait Shipping said that measures for this year's Spring Festival travel rush include establishing special classes for freight vehicles, creating dedicated vegetable transportation channels and launching new services.

Furthermore, the size of service support teams has increased to 11,000, including security personnel, volunteers, cleaners and a dedicated customer service team. The service support team will focus on safety, optimization, capacity enhancement and emergency support.

Two new energy-exclusive transport ships have been put into operation to enhance transportation for new energy vehicles.
