Farmers pick tea leaves at a plantation in Naxi district of Luzhou, Sichuan province, on Feb 10, 2025. With a tea plantation area of 21,000 hectares, Naxi produces around 24,000 metric tons of tea each year. The district, among regions of the same latitude where tea leaves sprout the earliest, boasts more than 100 high-quality tea processing enterprises, helping increase the per capita annual income of local tea farmers by over 3,000 yuan ($410).
