Jilin's rime ice is renowned as one of China's four meteorological wonders. It is distinguished by its thick, crystal-clear appearance. The best time to enjoy rime ice views in the city is from late December to February.

The 1,000-square-meter-lab not only allows visitors to appreciate the rime spectacle year-round, but also enhances the visitor experience through various technological methods.

The landscapes within the laboratory closely mirror the nature. The entire route starts from Tianchi Lake of Changbai Mountain, flows downstream along the Songhua River, and passes through well-known scenic spots such as Baishan Lake, Hongshi Lake and Songhua Lake.

Along the journey surrounded by rime, visitors can revel in the breathtaking scenery of soft rime throughout the four seasons.
