Wangfujing, with a history going back to the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368), has refreshed its 700-year-old commercial legacy by combining culture and technology to create a modern shopping area. The 1.2-kilometer-long street welcomed over 100 million visits annually in recent years.

It brings together traditional brands like Quanjude Roast Duck and Donglaishun Hotpot restaurants with around 200 international stores and trendy cafes.

Recent additions like the BOE Digital Art Center's 3D displays and various cultural projects have turned Wangfujing into a center for culture and technology.
