Shanghai Disney Resort to launch Earth Month celebration

Shanghai Disney Resort will launch its annual Disney Earth Month on April 1, offering a range of activities to encourage actions to protect the planet.
"At Shanghai Disney Resort, the magic of nature and Disney storytelling are deeply connected, inspiring us to protect and preserve the world around us," said Andrew Bolstein, president and general manager of Shanghai Disney Resort.
"Our commitment to environmental stewardship extends year-round, and we hope that this Earth Month's celebrations will bring together our guests, cast members, and community in a shared commitment to protecting our planet for generations to come," he added.

A key event will be the ourHOME Nature Conservation Forum on Earth Day, April 22, co-hosted by National Geographic. The forum will bring together National Geographic explorers, environmental experts, conservation advocates, nonprofit organization representatives, volunteers, students, and cast members to showcase global conservation efforts and promote sustainable development.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Disney Conservation Fund, which has supported nonprofit organizations globally to assist over 1,000 wildlife species and natural habitats across half of the world's countries and regions. These efforts include supporting the International Crane Foundation and its collaborators, which nearly doubled the population of Siberian cranes in the eastern flyway region. Representatives from the crane foundation will attend the forum, sharing insights and practices in nature conservation.
