Luoyang peony festival opens for spring

The 42nd China Luoyang Peony Culture Festival's opening ceremony was held on Tuesday evening, kicking off a 15-day celebration of cultural heritage and modern tourism experiences, with peony viewing open to the public until April 30.

This year's festival embraces the latest cultural and tourism development trends, focusing on digital innovation to create immersive experiences for visitors and mobile-optimized content for enhanced social media sharing.

The festival is expected to offer thematic experiences that blend tradition with technology, centering around the beauty of peonies and Hanfu (traditional Han clothing), as well as music performances, outdoor adventures and interactive consumer experiences.
