Two decades of China's green transformation

Co-chair of the Europe-Asia Center and former UN under-secretary-general Erik Solheim highly praised the concept that "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", first proposed by Xi Jinping, then Party secretary of Zhejiang province, in 2005. Inspired by this concept, China has undergone a green transformation, achieving coordinated advancement of the economy and the environment, Solheim said.
