Event aimed at establishing a top commercial aerospace sector platform opens in Shanghai

An aerospace conference and exhibition with an aim of establishing a premier industry platform for China's commercial aerospace sector kicked off on Thursday in Shanghai.
The event is expected to showcase achievements, technology exchanges, ecosystem cooperation, and future outlook sharing in the field.
Formally known as the first Shanghai Commercial Aerospace Conference & Exhibition, it has attracted nearly 300 domestic enterprises across the commercial aerospace sector within its 15,000 square meters space. The event will run through Saturday.
The exhibitors cover the entire industry chain, ranging from commercial rockets, satellite manufacturing, and launch services, to ground equipment, infrastructure, satellite applications, and cutting-edge technologies.
Shanghai enjoys unique industrial strengths in hosting the event. As a technological innovation center, the city has the leadership in high-end manufacturing. It serves as an economic engine of the nation's economic development, and holds great attraction for companies and industries setting headquarters, according to the organizers.
It is hoped that the deepened integration of policies, projects, capital, talent, and model innovation will accelerate the development of an innovative ecosystem involving leading enterprises in rockets, satellites, terminals, and applications.
