GENEVA — The 51st International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva concluded on Sunday in Switzerland, with the Chinese delegation impressing both visitors and judges with a diverse and innovative showcase of over 200 inventions, 90 of which won gold medals.

This year, the Chinese delegation organized 237 invention projects across 212 booths, marking the largest scale. The exhibited achievements mainly focused on fields such as environmental protection, renewable energy, electronics, medicine, construction and transportation. Notably, projects in software, cybersecurity, blockchain and the internet of things saw significant growth, reflecting emerging trends and new characteristics across industries.

Gold medal-winning projects spanned various sectors, impressing global visitors. The "New type of 600 km/h high-speed maglev train and its test and validation platform" achieved innovations in high-speed bogies without rockers and lightweight car bodies with high strength and rigidity.

An AI-based early warning system for power supply security has significantly enhanced the power grid's adaptability to high-proportion renewable energy integration and improved its safety pre-control capabilities.

The International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva is one of the longest-running and largest invention exhibitions in the world. This year's five-day event featured over 1,000 invention projects from 35 countries and regions, showcasing innovative achievements across different fields and industries.
