Seagulls put on spectacular display in Hebei's Beidaihe

In early April, the coastal Beidaihe district in Qinhuangdao, Hebei province, has turned into a spectacular haven for thousands of seagulls.

Against a backdrop of blue sea and sky, the birds are putting on a breathtaking display. The blend of blue sky, clear sea, golden sands, and soaring gulls offers a treat for the eyes, while the breeze, waves, and bird calls fill the air. The lively sight adds ecological charm to the city and paints a lively picture of spring.

Beidaihe is a stopover on the East Asian-Australasian Flyway migratory route. Every April, as the seagulls head north, they pause here to rest and feed, creating a magnificent scene of thousands gathering together, according to local authorities.
