White crocuses bloom after snow retreats in Xinjiang

As the last snow retreats from the 2,000-meter-high meadows of the Narat grassland in Xinyuan county of Ili Kazak autonomous prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, white crocuses have begun pushing through the damp earth.
Their white petals cradle yellow stamens and unfurl against the clear skies and snow‑capped peaks. Visitors, drawn by the fleeting bloom, pause to capture the stunning Tianshan Mountain tableau.
