US March inflation highest in nearly two years, pushed by energy costs

NEW YORK -- The US consumer price index increased by 3.3 percent year-on-year in March as energy costs soared, registering the largest spike in nearly two years, according to data released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics on Friday.
