Sanyuesan Carnival, Guangxi

Today is the third day of the third month (or sanyuesan in Chinese) on the Chinese calendar. On this day, many ethnic groups in southern China hold grand celebrations for their traditional "Sanyuesan" festival. Since 2014, the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region has designated this period as an annual holiday. During the festival, people sing and dance, traditional folk performances take turns on stage, and a joyful, vibrant atmosphere fills the air.
