5.1-magnitude quake hits South of Kermadec Islands -- GFZ

BEIJING - An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted South of Kermadec Islands at 0640 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 32.38 degrees south latitude and 177.90 degrees west longitude.
