During the Ming and Qing (1368-1911) dynasties, Chinese emperors held spring rituals here at the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests at the Temple of Heaven. They prayed for abundant harvests and harmony. Beneath a pink-violet dusk, the hall stands in solemn elegance, its triple-eaved blue-tiled roof crowned in gold. Intricate carvings and painted beams quietly preserve centuries-old hopes, where imperial ritual meets the gentle poetry of the evening sky.
