The 2026 China New Cultural and Creative Market & Trendy Toy Carnival, touted as the first national-level event of its kind, will take place in Beijing from May 15-24 in Chaoyang Park.
Covering 66,000 square meters, the carnival will be held at Chaoyang Museum of Urban Planning, a museum inside the park, and the Weibo In, an e-sports and youth sub-culture complex positioned for youth trends and entertainment and its surrounding outdoor area.
High-quality cultural and creative products, intangible cultural heritage brands, original IPs, and trendy toy brands from 31 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, as well as Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions, will be showcased and sold in both indoor and outdoor areas.
This event aims to offer visitors a one-stop opportunity to explore the top trending cultural creations in China, experiencing the sector’s latest development and enjoying the unique carnival atmosphere.
In addition, the event also serves as a fair featuring trendy toy scenarios, unique performances, and flavorful dining experiences.
More than just a fair, over 10 stages of various sizes will host more than 100 performances from national-level and local art troupes, ensuring that popular cultural creations resonate with fashionable spaces and that traditional culture harmonizes with modern trends.
